Every fine art paper or canvas has its own unique “profile” and accepts the giclée jet streams of microscopic pigment ink droplets differently. Also, manufacturers alter the composition of their inks and substrates occasionally without telling us! So, no matter how carefully we calibrate our entire system, the image that looks like a faithful match on our mastering monitor may show subtle variations once printed. That’s why we regard the first few proofing prints we run as tests. Until we’re as close to the hues and details of your original as possible, we don’t charge you a penny. Test sheets go in the bin – at our expense. You receive only the best, most accurate reproductions of your creative work.
