Photographer's Statement
“I’ve always had a bright, cheerful and sometimes comical outlook on life, plus a delight in colour, shapes and textures. I hope you’ll agree, these elements shine through my abstract imagery.
I attended the Art School of Trial And Error and have been enjoying my eventful journey through visual experimentation since the late 90’s. All my work is created using an original photograph as the starting block. Then my imagination takes over.
I appreciate many artistic styles, including Futurism, Surrealism and Art Deco. I also adore the works of Kandinsky; his use of colour and exuberant forms are simply out of this world! While my art and photography are part-time activities I very much enjoy, my dream is to exhibit.”
